Siddiqui Law Office
Civil Litigation in Dallas-Fort Worth
Help bringing or defending a Texas civil lawsuit, with document review, a written plan and fees quoted by phase.
A lawsuit changes the questions you need to answer. What does the other side have to prove? Which documents matter? What happens next, and what will that step cost? Siddiqui Law Office represents individuals and businesses bringing claims and defending against them. Omer begins with the papers, the available court record and your account of the dispute. He then proposes a defined scope and explains the work that comes first. A demand letter, an answer and a trial each call for different preparation. Your proposal should make those differences clear.
How we can help
- Pre-suit assessment, demand letters and settlement discussions
- Defense of civil lawsuits and evaluation of available claims
- Pleadings, written discovery, depositions and motion practice within the agreed scope
- Mediation, trial preparation and trial representation when included in the engagement
Fees and costs
Demand letters start at $400. Lawsuits use phased flat-fee proposals after review. The proposal identifies the included work, outside expenses and the point at which another phase requires approval.
What to send after conflict clearance
- The citation, petition and every hearing notice, with the date and method of service
- The agreement, invoices, photographs or correspondence at the center of the dispute
- A short timeline, the names of everyone involved and the outcome you want
Keep the first request brief. We will provide a secure method for substantive documents after clearance.
Common questions
Can you help if someone has already sued me?
Yes. Include the court, cause number, service date and any scheduled hearing in your request. If a deadline falls within seven days, also call. Submitting a request does not mean the firm has accepted responsibility for the deadline.
Do you represent plaintiffs and defendants?
Yes, subject to a conflict check and review of the particular dispute. Tell us whether you want to bring a claim, defend one or respond to a demand before anyone files suit.
Does one flat fee cover the entire lawsuit?
Only if the written proposal says so. Litigation usually proceeds in separately described phases, with a written fee for the next phase before it begins.
